...HEAT ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM EDT THIS EVENING...

.DISCUSSION...

Showers and storms developed sooner than expected and will reach
the burn site near or prior to 2 PM. Outflow from these storms
will increase W-NW winds to 10-15 mph with gusts to 25 mph. Higher
gusts 45-55 mph will be possible near lightning storms. The east
coast sea breeze will likely not develop before the offshore flow
and outflow overruns the burn site, keeping winds westerly the
rest of today. Showers could linger for a couple hours after the
heavier convection passes, but otherwise an early end to
afternoon storms by 5PM will accompany the early start. Overnight
dry with light westerly winds, which pick back up to 5-10 mph
Wednesday, and afternoon rain and lightning storms chances
increase. Generally Good dispersion values become Fair to Good
Wednesday.
