THIS EVENING...

.DISCUSSION...

Good morning. Light and variable winds this morning will become
east to southeast and increase to around 5 mph this afternoon with
the formation of the east coast sea breeze. Below normal rain
chances continue today, with a 20 percent chance of rain forecast
at the burn site as showers form along the sea breeze this
afternoon. A lightning storm or two can not be ruled out. Hot and
humid conditions continue today, with afternoon highs in the mid
90s and peak heat indices ranging from 107 to 109 degrees. A Heat
Advisory has been issued for today starting at 11AM until 8PM. No
Min RH concerns. Smoke dispersion values will be poor to fair
today due to the light winds.

Below normal rain chances will continue through mid week, with
rain chances around 30-40 percent at the burn site Wednesday and
Thursday. Conditions will remain hot, with afternoon highs in the
mid 90s and peak heat indices ranging from 105-109F through that
time period. Light west to southwest winds will prevail mid week,
backing onshore (east to southeast) each afternoon with the
formation of the sea breeze. No Min RH concerns through the week.
Smoke dispersion values will be fair to generally good Wednesday
and Thursday.
