...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN ST. LUCIE AND
NORTHEASTERN MARTIN COUNTIES THROUGH 715 PM EDT...

At 626 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Port Saint Lucie. Additional storm development is expected over the
area as boundary collisions occur. Storm motion will be slow and
erratic.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Port Saint Lucie, Walton, Stuart, Palm City, and White City.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Seek
safe shelter inside a sturdy building or hard-topped vehicle.
Remember, lightning can strike beyond 10 miles away from a
thunderstorm. When thunder roars, go indoors!
