...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 2 PM CST THIS AFTERNOON...
* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of southwest Alabama, including the following
county, Mobile.
* WHEN...Until 200 PM CST.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Water over roadways. Overflowing poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1058 AM CST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream
flooding.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Midtown Mobile, Tillmans Corner, Theodore, I10 And I65, Mann,
Meadow Lake, Hollingers Island, Laurendine, Irvington, Dawes,
Navco, Saint Elmo, Belle Fontaine, Fowl River, South Orchard,
Neshota, Sunny Cove, West Hill, Wheelerville and Bayleys
Corner.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
