...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM CDT THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall from Hurricane Isaias
  continues.

* WHERE...Southeastern Conecuh County in south central Alabama...
  Covington County in south central Alabama...
  Southern Crenshaw County in south central Alabama...
  Eastern Escambia County in south central Alabama...

* WHEN...Until 1000 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
  and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Expect many
  areas of slow moving or standing water. It will take several hours
  for all the water from these storms to work through local drainage
  systems in urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 754 AM CDT, Residual flooding continues from heavy rain that
    fell from Hurricane Isaias. Between 6 and 12 inches of rain have
    fallen.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Andalusia, Opp, Brewton, Florala, East Brewton, Brantley, River
    Falls, Red Level, Lockhart, Dozier, Heath, Gantt, Glenwood,
    Riverview, Carolina, Beck, Stanley, Red Oak, Loango and Rhump.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
