Fire Weather Planning Forecast For Inland Southeast Mississippi...
Southwest Alabama And The Extreme Western Florida Panhandle
National Weather Service Mobile AL
1202 AM CST Mon Nov 10 2025

...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM THIS MORNING TO 6 PM CST
THIS EVENING...

...HIGH (75+) DISPERSION INDICES EXPECTED MONDAY OVER THE ENTIRE
AREA...

.DISCUSSION...Dry conditions are expected Monday and Tuesday.
Afternoon relative humidity values drop to near 20-25% Monday and
near 15-20% on Tuesday. With sustained 20 foot winds up to around
15- 20 mph, in combination with existing drought conditions and
the low humidity values, a Red Flag Warning has been issued for
southeast Mississippi and the western Florida Panhandle for
Monday. Dangerous burning conditions will also be in place for
Alabama, but the National Significant Fire Potential did not
reach criteria at issuance time. Any increases to this potential
will result in the Red Flag being expanded into Alabama counties.
20 foot winds will drop to well below criteria on Tuesday.
Transport winds will be mostly northwesterly Monday and
southwesterly to westerly on Tuesday. Dispersion index values
will be good on Monday and fair to generally good on Tuesday.

Fog potential and other remarks...Fog development is not expected
tonight or Monday night.
