It is a gorgeous day with temperatures feeling a full 15 to 20
degrees cooler than this time yesterday. Temperatures tomorrow will
top out in the upper 70s to near 80. If MSP doesn`t hit 80 tomorrow,
it will be the first day to have a sub 80 high since June 26th.
Northwest flow aloft will continue to advect dry air into the region
through early Thursday. Ridging will slowly start to move into the
Central Plains by the end of the week, allowing temperatures to
creep up into the mid 80s. Heat and humidity returns with a
vengeance come Saturday. Dew points will jump back into the
upper 60s to low 70s and highs in the 90s returning through
early next week. The aforementioned ridge will remain centered
far enough to the south that any waves along the periphery
could bring some rain chances. However, the majority of the
forecast period looks to remain dry. Enjoy the break from the
heat!

Cu will linger through the first few hours of the period, with
both the cumulus and wind dissipating by 03-04z across most
sites. Winds will become light and variable overnight generally
4kts or lower, with FEW250 making way for SKC as conditions
continue to dry out. We may see some fair weather cu returning
after 18z through the end of the period, however there is little
in the way of lift to force clouds and will instead rely on
mixing to the top of the mixed layer.
