...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Minnesota...

  Minnesota River at Morton affecting Renville and Redwood Counties.

  Minnesota River at Montevideo affecting Lac qui Parle, Yellow
  Medicine and Chippewa Counties.

.This forecast included 24 hours of QPF. If more rain falls than
forecast, we could see additional rises on rivers.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and is forecast to continue.

* WHERE...Minnesota River at Morton.

* WHEN...Until Sunday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 23.0 feet, Riverside Rd and Front Street flooded in
  North Redwood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 900 AM CDT Tuesday, the stage was 22.2 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 900 AM CDT Tuesday was 22.3 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    Saturday evening and continue falling to 20.0 feet Tuesday,
    July 22.
  - Flood stage is 21.0 feet.

* IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Low lying areas and some roads along the
  river begin flooding, along with some basements of houses along
  the river.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 900 AM CDT Tuesday, the stage was 15.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 900 AM CDT Tuesday was 15.1 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    early Sunday afternoon and continue falling to 13.7 feet
    Tuesday, July 22.
  - Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
