...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Minnesota...

  Minnesota River at Morton affecting Redwood and Renville Counties.

  Minnesota River at Montevideo affecting Chippewa, Lac qui Parle
  and Yellow Medicine Counties.

.Recent rainfall has lead to river rises in the Minnesota River. As
yesterday`s rain fell mostly to the east of the basin, only two
minor flood points are forecast and they are already in minor.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Minnesota River at Morton.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 23.0 feet, Riverside Rd and Front Street flooded in
  North Redwood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 800 PM CDT Tuesday, the stage was 21.8 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 800 PM CDT Tuesday was 21.8 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 22.4
    feet early Thursday morning.
  - Flood stage is 21.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    22.2 feet on 05/02/2006.

  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 800 PM CDT Tuesday was 14.2 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 15.0
    feet Friday morning.
  - Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    15.0 feet on 03/24/1966.
