Minnesota River at Morton affecting Redwood and Renville Counties. Minnesota River at Montevideo affecting Chippewa, Lac qui Parle and Yellow Medicine Counties. .Recent rainfall has lead to river rises in the Minnesota River. As yesterday`s rain fell mostly to the east of the basin, only two minor flood points are forecast and they are already in minor. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
