Minnesota...

  Minnesota River at Morton affecting Renville and Redwood Counties.

  Minnesota River at Montevideo affecting Chippewa, Lac qui Parle
  and Yellow Medicine Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Minnesota River at Morton.

* WHEN...Until late Saturday night.

* IMPACTS...At 23.0 feet, Riverside Rd and Front Street flooded in
  North Redwood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 900 AM CDT Monday, the stage was 22.6 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 900 AM CDT Monday was 22.7 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    Saturday morning and continue falling to 20.2 feet Monday,
    July 21.
  - Flood stage is 21.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    22.8 feet on 09/22/2018.

* IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Low lying areas and some roads along the
  river begin flooding, along with some basements of houses along
  the river.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1000 AM CDT Monday, the stage was 15.2 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 1000 AM CDT Monday was 15.3 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    early Sunday morning and continue falling to 13.7 feet
    Monday, July 21.
  - Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    15.2 feet on 05/07/1994.
