...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Minnesota...

  Minnesota River at Morton affecting Renville and Redwood Counties.

  Minnesota River at Montevideo affecting Chippewa, Yellow Medicine
  and Lac qui Parle Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Minnesota River at Morton.

* WHEN...Until late Friday night.

* IMPACTS...At 23.0 feet, Riverside Rd and Front Street flooded in
  North Redwood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 900 AM CDT Tuesday, the stage was 21.5 feet.
  - River levels continue to fall.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    Friday morning and continue falling to 19.9 feet Tuesday,
    September 09.
  - Flood stage is 21.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    21.4 feet on 05/31/2004.

  the river.

  - At 900 AM CDT Tuesday, the stage was 15.2 feet.
  - River levels continue to fall.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall to 14.3 feet
    Tuesday, September 09.
  - Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    15.2 feet on 04/03/2020.
