.Additional moderate to heavy rainfall is expected across Renville
county. A tropical-like set up will allow for efficient rainfall
producers to track across the area into the afternoon hours.
Rainfall rates of half inch to an inch per hour are possible through
mid afternoon.

...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 545 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of central Minnesota, including the following
  county, Renville.

* WHEN...Until 545 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
  and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1145 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
    indicated heavy rain. Flooding is already occurring in the
    warned area. Between 3 and 5 inches of rain have fallen.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Olivia, Renville, Fairfax, Hector, Bird Island, Buffalo Lake,
    Sacred Heart, Franklin, Morton, Danube, Lakeside, Minnesota
    Falls and Bechyn.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
