.DISCUSSION...Prospects are increasing for a few rounds of
beneficial rainfall this week. The first round arrives today,
with widespread rain and a few thunderstorms set to move across
the forecast area through the morning and persist for much of the
day. A weak system will bring the chance for light rainfall on
Wednesday, followed by another potential round of widespread
moderate to heavy rain on Friday. Upcoming wet weather and cooler
highs in the 60s to lower 70s will support low fire weather
concerns over the next week.
