SOUTHERN MINNESOTA...
.DISCUSSION...Light rain showers will continue over southeastern
MN and WI into tonight. Additional rain will occur across the
entire area throughout early Tuesday as a strong storm system
begins to develop. Rain will eventually change over to snow by
Tuesday night as incoming cold air cools temperatures.
Accumulating to potentially heavy snow is most likely over central
MN. Snowfall amounts should greatly decrease heading south to
southern MN. Strong northwesterly winds are expected Tuesday
evening through Wednesday with gusts of 35 to even 50 mph
possible. The strongest gusts are most likely to occur in
southwestern and southern MN.
