.DISCUSSION...
For the Whispering Ridge AMA...
Similar conditions to the Voosen WMA are expected, with similar
winds and chances for storms. Skies are mostly clear to start out the day
with clusters of storms over eastern MN and further weak storms
bubbling up from northern Iowa, however the burn site should
remain storm free through the morning. There is uncertainty
remaining on where an evening cluster of storms would roll
through, and currently the expectation is for the best chances to
be north and east of the burn site. Winds will be southeasterly at
5-10mph at ignition time and through the rest of the day, with
gusts mainly relying on nearby thunderstorms should they happen.
RH remains high today due to high dew points, in the 90%s this
morning and mid 50s percent at the lowest this afternoon.
