Visibility continues to remain at or below 1 mile due to patchy areas of dense fog, with gradual improvement expected through midday. The worst of the fog is confined to the Minnesota River Valley, however per observations the fog remains dense on the western fringe of the 7 county metro. The low stratus will also gradually burn off through the rest of the morning, with decreasing clouds expected for the rest of the day. $$
