At 351 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking an area of strong thunderstorms extending from 7 miles west of Lake Oliver to 17 miles northwest of Marietta, or extending from 21 miles southwest of Morris to 51 miles west of Montevideo, moving southeast at 25 mph.
