URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE
National Weather Service Twin Cities/Chanhassen MN
306 AM CST Fri Nov 28 2025

...LONG DURATION SNOW WITH IMPACTFUL ACCUMULATION LIKELY ACROSS
SOUTHERN MINNESOTA INTO WESTERN WISCONSIN THIS EVENING THROUGH
SATURDAY EVENING...

.Snow will develop across the Dakotas this morning, reaching
southwestern Minnesota late this afternoon into this evening, then
continuing to press eastward through Saturday evening across all of
southern MN into western WI.

Several inches of accumulation, including over 6 inches of total
accumulation near and south of a line from Redwood Falls to Le Sueur
to Cannon Falls MN, will likely lead to travel impacts Friday night
into Saturday night. The heaviest snow will fall around Interstate 90
corridor in southern Minnesota, with upwards of 10 inches of total
accumulation through Saturday night possible. Lighter amounts are
expected from west central Minnesota through the Twin Cities metro
through Bloomer WI and points northward of that line.

Overall, travelers should use extra caution and allow for extra
travel time, including the possibility of moderate prolonged snowfall
at times, which may lead to hazardous travel conditions.
