.DISCUSSION...
Temperatures will remain above seasonal averages through the weekend
with cooler temperatures arriving early next week. Highs today and
into the weekend will be well into the 70s to lower 80s, some 10 to
20 degrees above seasonal averages. With the warmer temperatures,
afternoon RH could fall to near/just below 50% in the interior
today, and to around 40-50% Saturday and Sunday. Some isolated spots
may see even lower RH in the 30s Sunday. Shifting winds turn calmer
today, and may become governed by lake breezes this afternoon. Then,
expect breezy conditions this weekend with gusts up to 20-25mph
Saturday and to 20-30mph Sunday. Higher gusts are possible across
the Keweenaw both days. Otherwise, spotty showers and storms are
expected today before dry weather returns this weekend.
