...HIGH PRESSURE TODAY AND MAINLY DRY PATTERN FOR THE WEEK...
.DISCUSSION: High pressure passing over the Upper Great Lakes
today means light winds mainly less than 10 mph, dry weather, and
mostly sunny skies. In the wake of yesterday`s cold front, closer
to normal temperatures are expected to peak in the 60s. Afternoon
mixing yields minimum RHs in the mid 30s to 40s, lowest interior
west.
RHs make a full recovery tonight as temperatures fall into the mid
30s to upper 40s, warmer near the Great Lakes and coldest interior
west. Some patchy fog and frost may develop late tonight in the
interior. Low chances for showers return on Tuesday along U.P.
shores of Lake Michigan and in the east Tuesday night as a low
pressure tracks through Lower Michigan. Accumulations likely will
remain below 0.1 inches, if any at all. Otherwise, a warmer and
drier trend continues the rest of the week.
