.DISCUSSION...
Temperatures warm into the low to mid 70s across much of the area
today, but RH values will only bottom out in the mid to upper 40s as
southerly low level flow advects higher dewpoints into the area
compared to recent days. As such, do not anticipate any fire weather
concerns through the period over the next few days. Rain chances
return to the UP this evening and persist through Thursday. Chances
for a wetting rain of a quarter inch have fallen to around 25% over
the northern half of the UP, but remain around 75% or higher for
southcentral. Weather trends drier again late in the week, but with
seasonably cooler temperatures. Thursday and Friday could be quite
breezy with winds out of the west-northwest.
