.DISCUSSION...
Low pressure will pass south of the Great Lakes with high pressure
to the north. This will lead to a pattern of persistent easterly to
northeasterly winds, though for today and Saturday, winds will be
generally around 5 mph with gusts to 10-15 mph. The low pressure
will lead to 30-50% chances of rain along the MI/WI state line this
evening through Saturday evening, though rain totals are not
expected to be high. Dry air flowing off the Canadian Shield in
addition to less cloud cover will lead to the lowest RHs today to be
for the eastern third of the UP, falling into the 30s percents while
the west half o the UP will largely stay above 50% RH. Saturday`s
RHs will largely stay above 50% UP wide expcept for some 40s for the
eastern third and some isolated locations in the interior west.
