422 FNUS53 KMQT 251002 FWFMQT FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR UPPER MICHIGAN National Weather Service Marquette MI 601 AM EDT Wed Jun 25 2025 .DISCUSSION...Dry weather persists this morning, but rain chances gradually increase from the southwest already this afternoon as high pressure overhead weakens. Highs will be in the mid 60s to upper 70s. Lake breezes are expected to moderate temperature and RH near the shores this afternoon, but afternoon mixing yields interior minimum RH in the mid 30s to low 40s percents. Showers become widespread tonight, bringing rainfall amounts of 0.25 to 0.5 inches to most outside the Keweenaw. Areas in the south likely will see around 1 inch by Thursday morning. RH recovers and lows are expected in the 50s. A second round of rainfall follows later in the day Thursday, continuing into Friday. Otherwise cooler temperatures are expected on Thursday in the mid 50s to 60s.
