.DISCUSSION...

Breezy NW winds and cool temps in the 50s to low 60s prevail today.
A few scattered light rain showers are noted on the upstream Canadian
Thunder Bay radar and may briefly impact portions of Isle Royale
through the morning. No lightning expected. Surface winds expected to
gust 15-20 kts on the island with breezier 20-25 kts possible on the
open waters NW of the island to the immediate NW facing shorelines.
Significant wave heights around the island linger between 1.5 and 3
ft. For aviation, NW winds remain the rule gusting 20-25 kts above
the surface. VFR cigs expected between 3-5k ft early rising 7-9k this
morning.
