.DISCUSSION...

Persistent high pressure extending over the Great Lakes holds dry
weather into this weekend. However, mostly cloudy skies are expected
on Thursday with a disturbance to the west. Temperatures settle into
the mid 30s by early Thursday morning, allowing for a full RH
recovery and possibly yielding patchy fog; any fog will clear out
shortly after sunrise. Temperatures warm into the mid 60s on
Thursday. With dewpoints in the mid to upper 40s, minimum RH is
forecast near 50%. There is a 10-30% chance for lower RH down to 40%
mid afternoon. Light south to south-southeast winds on Thursday hold
between 4 to 8 mph with gusts of 10 to 12 mph. Another full RH
recovery is expected Thursday night with lows near 40. Similar
conditions continue on Friday with a slightly warmer high near 70
and less cloud cover. This better mixing set up brings lower RHs
into the 40s, but winds will be even lighter.
