.DISCUSSION...

Initial band of rain showers moving through the area this morning will
dissipate by around 0900, with partially clearing skies and a lull in
precipitation for the rest of the morning. Showers will increase in
coverage again this afternoon as a front moves across the UP, with a
few thunderstorms also possible. Expect a wetting rain of a tenth to a
quarter inch at the site through this evening. Moist atmospheric conditions
means RH will only bottom out around 60% today. Precipitation tapers off by
Saturday morning, but lingering low level moisture will again keep minimum
RH values around 60% Saturday afternoon. Warming and drying trend kicks off
on Sunday and last well into next week as high pressure rebuilds over the
region. Sunday: High temperature around 80 with minimum RH around 35-40% in
the afternoon. Light winds. Monday: High temperature in the low to mid 80s
with minimum RH around 30-35%. South winds around 10 mph gusting to 20 mph at
times. There will be a chance of rain with a quick moving system Monday night,
but confidence is low at this time.
