The areas affected include...
  Lake Superior East of a line from Manitou Island to Marquette MI
  and West of a line from Grand Marais MI to the US/Canadian Border
  Beyond 5NM from shore...
  Lake Superior from Upper Entrance to Portage Canal to Manitou
  Island MI 5NM off shore to the US/Canadian Border...

At 1108 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated showers, capable of producing
winds to around 30 knots. These showers were located along a line
extending from 15 nm south of Superior Shoal to 13 nm north of
Manitou Island to 14 nm north of Brockway Mountain, moving southeast
at 35 knots.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until these storms pass.
