* Until 445 AM EDT.

* At 341 AM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 26 nm east of Oak
  Island, or 27 nm south of The Western Lake Superior Buoy, moving
  east at 35 knots.

  HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater and large hail.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
           suddenly higher waves. Large hail could result in
           structural damage.

* The severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly open waters.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately until this storm passes.
Wind gusts 34 knots or greater, large hail, high waves, dangerous
