Updated at 712 AM EDT Fri Oct 10 2025 - Fall-like, cool temperatures and dry weather expected through this weekend into next week. A slight warming trend next week. && .DISCUSSION... Issued at 1255 AM EDT Fri Oct 10 2025 In the upper levels, a shortwave is lingering over the Southeast as a cut-off low moves into the Great Lakes Region. A strong ridge remains over the Great Plains and Rockies. At the surface, high pressure centered over New England extends all the way to Texas. High pressure moves out quickly tonight as the Great Lakes system moves southward and low pressure develops along the east coast strengthening over the Mid-Atlantic. The ridge will finally build into the Tennessee Valley early next week. Our region will remain dry on the backside of the East Coast system with northwesterly flow in the upper levels. Dry weather is expected this weekend through mid next week. A gradual warming trend is expected early next week as the ridge builds into the region but temps will still be pleasant with highs mainly in the upper 70s. && .AVIATION...
