Water over roadways. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 425 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen over the last hour, especially in the Kingston, Harriman, and Rockwood areas, as well as southern parts of the Knoxville metro area. An additional 1 to 2 inches of rain are possible over the next couple of hours. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Knoxville, Oak Ridge, Maryville, Lenoir City, Alcoa, Kingston, Rockwood, Farragut, Louisville, Rockford, Midtown, Eagleton Village, Harriman, Bradbury and Wildwood. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
