.DISCUSSION...

Widespread clouds arrive this evening with a cold rain expected for
most of the region tonight into Tuesday morning. Gusty winds
expected for the mountains overnight into early Tuesday morning. Some
brief wintry mix is possible across the highest points of the
mountains and locations along the North Carolina state line, but
otherwise, minimal to no impacts are expected for our area. Drier
air arrives by Tuesday evening with clear, dry weather for
Wednesday and Thursday.
