...Low Afternoon Relative Humidity and Breezy Winds in East TN
and southwest VA Today...
...Very Low Afternoon Relative Humidity for Monday...

Dry and breezy conditions will continue across most of the area
this afternoon and early evening. Relative humidity values will
drop into the mid to upper 20s with sustained northwesterly winds
ranging from 12 to 20 mph. Wind gusts of 20 mph up to 30 mph are
expected, especially in northeast Tennessee and southwest
Virginia. The strongest winds will be in northeast Tennessee and
southwest Virginia. A Fire Danger Statement has been extended to
include all of East Tennessee, in addition to southwest Virginia.
On Monday, even lower relative humidity values to near 20 percent
are expected but with lighter winds.
