.DISCUSSION...

Closest lightning strikes are about 15 miles northeast. Some small
cells are located in Blount County and are currently not producing
lightning. The trend for those cells in Blount County is somewhat chaotic
and hard to tell if they will increase in strength or decay.

...Heat Advisory is in effect for much of the area
through Wednesday Evening...

Hot and muggy continues will continue through Wednesday before some
slight relief is seen late this week and into the weekend. Today and
Wednesday will be the hottest days, with heat index values between
100 and 107 degrees expected. Increasing coverage of storms are
expected through the weekend.  Isolated severe storms are
possible.

                    showers and thunderstorms late in the
