This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southwest North
Carolina...east Tennessee and southwest Virginia.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Thunderstorms are expected to develop across Middle Tennesee and
move onto the Cumberland Plateau this afternoon and evening. A few
storms could become strong with isolated damaging winds being the
primary hazard.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

A wet pattern is expected through early next week. Some flooding
issues will be possible particularly in Southwest Virginia and the
Upper Cumberland Plateau in places that got several inches of
rain last week.

Strong wind gusts around 40 mph are possible across the mountains
and foothills of East Tennessee Saturday night.
