Rating: EF0 Estimated Peak Wind: 85 mph Path Length /statute/: 2.00 miles Path Width /maximum/: 200 yards Fatalities: 0 Injuries: 5 Start Date: 05/30/2025 Start Time: 08:36 AM EDT Start Location: 4 NW Sweetwater / Loudon County / TN Start Lat/Lon: 35.6534 / -84.5193 End Date: 05/30/2025 End Time: 08:38 AM EDT End Location: 4 NNW Sweetwater / Monroe County / TN End Lat/Lon: 35.6562 / -84.4839 Survey Summary: The tornado touched down just west of Holt Rd in Luttrell with rear flank downdraft winds causing some straight-line wind damage to trees just south of the primary track. Numerous EF0 damage indicators were observed to homes and barns along Holt Rd. A camper trailer was rolled multiple times. The tornado tracked east where it impacted a farm along New Hope Rd where it produced EF0 wind damage and rolled another camper trailer. The injuries occurred within the camper trailers. The tornado then dissipated within fields between New Hope Rd and Pond Creek Rd. && EF Scale: The Enhanced Fujita Scale classifies tornadoes into the following categories: EF0.....65 to 85 mph EF1.....86 to 110 mph EF2.....111 to 135 mph EF3.....136 to 165 mph EF4.....166 to 200 mph EF5.....>200 mph NOTE: The information in this statement is preliminary and subject to change pending final review of the event and publication in NWS Storm Data. $$
