...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1045 PM EDT
FOR RUSSELL AND NORTHEASTERN WASHINGTON COUNTIES...

At 1021 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Trammel to 9 miles northeast of Lebanon to near
Saltville, moving northeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Abingdon, Lebanon, Cleveland Va, Honaker, Dye, Lindell, Rosedale, and
Emory-Meadowview.

This includes Interstate 81 in Virginia between mile markers 22 and
23.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
