Dry today before widespread rain moves back into the Tennessee
valley and southern Appalachians tonight and Tuesday, along with
gusty mountain winds. Freezing rain is possible across the far
northeast Tennessee mountains tonight into Tuesday morning. Light
snow possible for parts of southwest Virginia, northern Plateau, and
far east Tennessee mountains Tuesday morning into afternoon.

Drier conditions for Wednesday and Thursday.
