...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 PM MDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of Glacier National Park including the Highline
  Trail and the Going to the Sun Road.

* WHEN...Until 900 PM MDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Water over roadways. Overflowing poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 557 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing in the advisory
    area.
  - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.2 to 0.5 inches are expected
    over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
    flooding.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Flooding is occurring or is imminent. It is important to know where
you are relative to streams, rivers, or creeks which can become
dangerous in heavy rains. Campers and hikers should avoid streams or
creeks.
