Idaho (Zones 102 and 103): Very slight chance for shower or storm
through this evening. Direct impact from max outflow wind gusts up to
30 mph. Wetting rains not expected. Warming and drying significantly
into the weekend with overnight inversions / thermal belts becoming more
pronounced. Winds becoming increasingly diurnal / terrain driven. Smoke
from regional wildfires will gradually increase.
Northwest MT (Zones 104 and 105): Chances for showers and storms lasting
through the late evening. Low chance for wetting rain unless directly
under heavier showers or storms. Direct impact from max outflow wind
gusts up to 35 mph. Overnight/morning fog and low stratus possible again
especially where measurable rain falls the afternoon/evening prior.
Warming and drying significantly through the rest of the weekend. Winds
becoming increasingly diurnal / terrain driven. Smoke from regional
wildfires will gradually increase.
West Central MT (Zones 106, 107 and 108): Chances for showers and storms
lasting through the late evening especially along and north of I-90.
