.DISCUSSION...
Idaho (Zones 102 and 103): An exiting low pressure system will keep
elevated northeasterly winds over the region tonight. A warming and
drying trend is expected Wednesday through the weekend. A couple of weak
disturbances will increase the westerly winds for Thursday and Saturday.
The combination of low humidity and gusty afternoon winds will create
near critical fire weather conditions for Thursday and Saturday.
Northwest MT (Zones 104 and 105): The precipitation will be diminishing
throughout the night while northeasterly winds remain elevated. A
warming trend is expected Wednesday through the weekend. A subtle
feature will bring increased clouds and showers to the Canadian border
on Thursday. A second feature on Saturday will also bring a few showers
and increased westerly winds.
West Central MT (Zones 106, 107 and 108): An exiting low pressure system
will keep a few showers lingering into the evening hours while
northeasterly winds remain elevated tonight. A warming and drying trend
is expected Wednesday through the weekend. A couple of weak
disturbances will increase the westerly winds for Thursday and Saturday.
The combination of low humidity and gusty afternoon winds will create
near critical fire weather conditions for Thursday and Saturday.
Southwest MT (Zones 109, 110 and 111): An exiting low pressure system
will keep a few showers and thunderstorms lingering into the evening
hours while northeasterly winds remain elevated tonight. A warming and
drying trend is expected Wednesday through the weekend. A couple of weak
disturbances will increase the westerly winds for Thursday and
Saturday. The combination of low humidity and gusty afternoon winds will
create near critical fire weather conditions for Thursday and Saturday.
