Wetting rains only possible directly under stronger shower or storm. Heating and drying into the weekend with overnight inversion / thermal belts becoming more pronounced. Winds becoming increasingly diurnal/terrain driven. Northwest MT (Zones 104 and 105): Extensive cloud cover with shower and embedded thunderstorm chances continuing / increasing into Thursday evening. 20-60% chance of wetting rains through Friday morning. Morning fog / low stratus possible especially where measurable rain has fallen the previous evening/overnight. Convective showers and thundershowers likely Friday afternoon and evening with chances for wetting rain only directly under stronger shower or storm. Lightning producers will also produce heavy rainfall intensities and localized risk for excessive rainfall/runoff. Maximum storm outflow gusts could reach up to 35 mph Friday afternoon and evening.
