.DISCUSSION...
Idaho (Zones 102 and 103): Scattered showers and thunderstorms will be
moving through zone 103 this morning. Rainfall amounts are anticipated
to be relatively light with these storms. Temperatures will be warming
over the next couple of days. A dry cold front on Wednesday will cause
gusty westerly winds. A strong ridge of high pressure is anticipated by
the weekend bring warm and dry conditions.
Northwest MT (Zones 104 and 105): Isolated showers are anticipated to
move into extreme northwest Montana by mid morning. Rainfall amounts are
anticipated to be relatively light with these storms. Temperatures will be warming
over the next couple of days. A dry cold front on Wednesday will cause
gusty westerly winds. A strong ridge of high pressure is anticipated by
the weekend bring warm and dry conditions.
West Central MT (Zones 106, 107 and 108): Scattered showers and
thunderstorms will be moving into the region this morning. Rainfall
amounts are anticipated to be relatively light with these storms.
Temperatures will be warming over the next couple of days. A dry cold
front on Wednesday will cause gusty westerly winds. A strong ridge of
high pressure is anticipated by the weekend bring warm and dry
conditions.
Southwest MT (Zones 109, 110 and 111): Scattered showers and
thunderstorms will be moving into zone 109 this morning. Rainfall
amounts are anticipated to be relatively light with these storms.
Another round of storms is anticipated for this afternoon. Stronger
storms will be capable of erratic wind gusts up to 45 mph along with
heavy rain. Temperatures will be warming over the next couple of days.
