Idaho (Zones 102 and 103): High pressure will build over the Northern
Rockies today. Expect terrain-driven winds in the lower elevations and a
shift to westerly winds towards the ridgetops. Smoky skies will persist
today and a clearing trend will begin on Sunday as the ridge moves east
and upper level flow becomes southwesterly. Increasing moisture will
bring chances for showers or thunderstorms today and on Sunday in the
late afternoon and evening. Thunderstorms will be capable of gusty
outflow winds of about 40 mph and frequent lightning. A cooler, wetter
pattern will begin on Monday night and continue through about Thursday.

Northwest MT (Zones 104 and 105): High pressure will build over the
Northern Rockies today. Expect terrain-driven winds in the lower
elevations and a shift to southwesterly winds towards the ridgetops.
