...FIRE WEATHER WATCH IN EFFECT FROM SATURDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH
SUNDAY MORNING...

.DISCUSSION...Mostly cloudy conditions will be present in the
morning, along with light rain showers between 0700-1000. These
showers will be more like sprinkles, no wetting rains expected.
Light and variable winds in the morning will become southwest 5-7
mph, with gusts between 10-15 mph in the afternoon. During the
afternoon, there will also be a slight chance for mostly dry
thunderstorms between 1500 and 2000. The activity will be
scattered, with a 20 percent probability lightning will occur over
the fire. A second round will arrive late in the evening, around
midnight and lasting through early Sunday morning. Chances for
wetting rains remain very low, at around 10 percent. Sunday, a dry
cold front will move through the area mid-to-late morning, that
will bring a dir airmass behind the front, along with gusty
westerly winds around 25-30 mph from 1200 to 2000.
