.DISCUSSION...Moderating temperatures will begin today, and
warming into low 70s by Thursday. MinRH values will remain in the
upper 30 to low 40 percent range both today and Thursday. A light
northeast wind below 10 mph will be present over the fire
throughout the day. Thursday will start off with partly cloudy
conditions with a light east wind most of the day, before
switching more out of the southwest around 1700. At which, will
be the time scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms will
begin to develop in the area of the fire. Brief heavy rainfall
with rain rates between 0.25"-0.50" per hour will be possible if
the fire takes a direct hit. Brief gusty outflow winds from the
southwest up to 30 mph will be possible as well.
