.DISCUSSION...Friday will be a transition day as monsoon moisture
begins to depart the region to the east. Partly cloudy skies will
provide opportunities for surface heating and instability, with
scattered showers and and isolated thunderstorms developing in the
vicinity of the fire after 1430 PDT. A warming and drying trend
is expected this weekend into early next week as high pressure
builds into the region. Overnight inversions and thermal belts
will strengthen beginning Saturday night.
