The next chance for precipitation comes Thursday night, when a few
showers may bring light rain. By Friday, precipitation will become
more widespread with embedded thunderstorms. A closed low pressure
system will move into the region Saturday into Sunday, bringing
widespread moderate to heavy rain and cooler temperatures. A
reasonable range for the 48 hr storm total (ending 6am Sunday) is
between 1.10 to 1.75 inches, with some models showing over 2
inches (40 percent chance).
