.DISCUSSION...A relatively drier and milder day is anticipated
today with afternoon RH falling below 40%, mainly across the
interior. An upper storm system will encourage onshore flow and
provide an opportunity for virga to potentially sprinkles Sunday.
Onshore flow tonight into Sunday morning should curtail the
potential for widespread poor RH recovery. Elevations largely
above 2,000 feet, can anticipate a greater risk for poor to
moderate RH. In the wake of the upper low, modest pushes of
offshore flow will equate to a return to more widespread poor to
moderate morning humidity recovery. The gusty wind threat will be
greatest across the highest terrain of the North and East Bay,
with humidity recovery around 30% anticipated across the Central
Coast through Tuesday and Wednesday.
