...ELEVATED FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS CONTINUE IN THE HIGHER
ELEVATIONS DUE TO OFFSHORE MORNING WINDS AND POOR OVERNIGHT
HUMIDITY RECOVERIES...
.DISCUSSION...Strong high pressure aloft is currently compressing
the marine layer depth to 1000 feet. Coastal stratus and fog have
formed with local inland intrusions of stratus and fog that`ll mix
out today. Hot and dry conditions will continue through late week,
weekend and early next week with above normal temperatures. Above
the marine layer expect poor overnight humidity recoveries and
elevated fire weather conditions. Daytime humidity retention will
be poor away from the marine air along the immediate coast.
Note : All winds are 20-foot Winds Unless otherwise specified.
