.DISCUSSION...Strong northwest winds with gusts up to 30 mph will
continue along the coast, within the Salinas Valley, and at
higher elevations through Friday evening. Winds at the higher
elevations will shift to a gentle offshore flow Saturday through
Monday, bringing warmer and drier conditions. High fuel moistures
from recent rainfall and relatively light wind speeds will
mitigate the fire weather threats. Warmer and drier conditions
continue through the middle of next week.
Note : All winds are 20-foot Winds Unless otherwise specified.
